Steven P. Viani, P.E., brings more than 43 years of hands-on engineering experience and integrity to his expert witness testimony and reports. He has provided technical construction and engineering litigation support in mediations, arbitrations, and courtroom trials. Steve owns and operates a direct hire construction company with annual revenue of about $1 million, which keeps him actively involved in the profession he loves.
He enjoys bringing his civil engineering expertise to the courtroom. He is experienced providing expert witness testimony in construction defect and engineering cases that involve hazardous waste, landslides, insurance claims, and water and fire damage.
Steve is known as the engineering expert the experts turn. He reviews enforcement actions taken by the Board of Professionals Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists (BPELSG) when complaints are made against an engineer.
